Next August the 25th will arrive to Spain the first Pocoyo musical record. Do you want to know how we have made it and why?
The idea of making a record was on the back of our heads since the beginning of the series. We saw that we could face a record like this one, when we were producing the second season – also thanks to the huge success of the music by that time. So we decided to make it. And we did it properly.
We thought that the record had to have a thread and a narrator – in order to link the different parts and to make it funny. We brainstormed a lot and we listened loads of kind songs – so we kept some good stuff and we refused some other that we did not want it for our record.
We really liked the interaction from the old kind songs – so we decided to do it that way and to have funny moments on it. But we also wanted a record with true music, good pop songs – something for the adults. We wanted a lively record with a lot of party and dancing! The target is quite wide, like Pocoyo, from 0 to 90 years old. In fact, the idea was that one: to make a successful single that sounded in the radio and liked everyone. Our big challenge was to include words in the songs of the series…
Will this record be available in Australia?
I LOVE Pocoyo! I turn 20 next month, and I do NOT think I am too old for Pocoyo! :D

Why don't you make a Pocoyo store on Zazzle.com? It's free to set up a store, you don't have anything to do with dispatch, production or what ever... All someone needs to do is add images to products they have available (shrits, magnets, buttons, etc...)... There are many original trademarks already available (like Bambi...). And it would sell... Not to mention, Zazzle is now available in UK as well! ;)

My 1 year old son and I love Pocoyo, and we especially love the music. I hope you could have the option to order this online as well so it would be more accessible to people outside Spain :)
