Another big day! The importance of being recommended…
Last December, we presented in Madrid the videogame Hello, Pocoyo!. We had a press conference together with Virgin Play and the Spanish Association Protégeles. It was especially important to be next to Protégeles because it was the first time that this Association supported a game like that.
Who is Protégeles? It is an organization that protects children’s security in audiovisual contents. For us, this aspect is crucial to produce all our projects. Protégeles also elaborates studies related to different contents focused on children – done by professional experts on children’s security, computer technicians, pedagogues and marketing and communication experts.
It was extremely warm in the meeting room. Previous nerves to the press conference. “Good morning and thank you all for being here…” – Teresa Núñez, Virgin Play Press Responsible (good friend and professional), opened the press conference to introduce the rest of the speakers: Paco Encinas, CEO of Virgin Play, commented the internationality of the product. Guillermo Castillo, President of the Association Protégeles, praised the work of Zinkia for “having created a videogame that is able to join families in front of the DS”, and Fernando de Miguel, CEO of Zinkia, proudly mentioned that it was a pleasure for Zinkia and Pocoyó that an organization like Potégeles did not criticize that kids play with videogames like Hello, Pocoyo!, but also that they recommended with total security.
Lastly, Tatiana Delgado and Francesc Vilanova (our concept designers that represented the development team) did a wonderful life explanation about the game that captivated all journalists.
In the meanwhile, Pocoyo appeared to become the main character of the day. It was curious – at some point, the heat and nerves disappeared and the room was full of laugh and fun…
Hello!
I'm a 20 year old girl from Singapore and I just discovered this series airing on tv a few weeks back.
It's really great!!! I don't know why, but there's just something about the music and the story in each episode and the way the characters move.
I love the characterisations of each one of them. And the fact that they get angry, like when Pocoyo touched Elly's block tower today, and it collapsed.
I'm really glad about the way you guys translate concepts so simply. Today they were all identifying footprints on the ground, and when they found a set of unidentified blue footprints, Pocoyo said it was a monster, when it was really Pato with flippers on. It showed the power of mob rule, and how what the group thinks isn't always right. And that sometimes fear is unfounded. All of this while teaching kids how to identify footprints.
Each episode makes me feel all happy and fuzzy inside. XD

Solunar, I agree with you 100%!
Pocoyo is screening here every morning and it's a great way to start my day! It cheers me up and puts a smile on my face for the rest of the day. :-D
My favourite episode is Elly's Doll. It hasn't come up for you yet. Here's a list of the episodes so you can follow the series and be ready for my favourite episode.

Hello Denise!
I just saw Elly's Doll yesterday! :D It was very cute! Oh man!!!! I can't believe Elly mistook Pocoyo for her doll! And Sleepybird had an appearance! Sleepybird is my favorite character because she looks so cute.
And I just saw Octupus today! It's my first time seeing Octupus. Is Octupus a girl or boy? Octupus scared me at first because his eyes were crossed, but then he started cheering up everybody, and even tickled the narrator! I started laughing along with everyone. I guess Octupus isn't so scary afterall.
:D
