It looks like Pocoyo is as naughty as usual – he has taken the magic marker and he has made disappear all his friends. How? For the moment, he has painted a square on the floor and he has made it a dancing room. The issue is that everyone who goes into the dancing room, disappears.
Where are all those that have disappeared? Will Pato and Pocoyo meet again? The research is the essence of the game, and to find them we will need to travel all around Pocoyo’s world…
How have we designed and built the world of Hello, Pocoyo!?
First thing, we designed it on paper – we sketched every scene in 2D. In this previous design, we conceptualized all puzzles of the game and we dosed all the items that were meant to be discovered along the game. We will let you know in another occasion which items we are talking about!
After that, we modelled screen by screen in 3D – adding at the same time the items. Two types of items: decorative and interactive items (like the balloon, in this specific example), and the respective performances. Have you ever thought about being able to cross a river or a road by blowing on a balloon? Pocoyo did not think about it. He simply blew and let himself be carried away…
