It´s been a long time, i know...
We are almost done with the seasion 2 of Pocoyo, just one more week!!
Here you have a clip we did to launch it on television. I think the new episodes are going to be great and we really hope you like it.
Season 2 has got plenty of surprises, new caracters, new wonderful machines, even new planets!! And of course all the humor that we had in the previous episodes. All the team did it with the same love and hard work. Hurray for them and Hurray for Pocoyo!!
Awesome I cant wait! That little animation Pato does where he plays pingpong with his eyeball is so off the wall I love it.

WeyHey!
Looks fantastic. My daughter and I dance to Pocoyo's intro music on a regular basis. And being a 3D professional I can say the animation is some of the best I have seen.
I already knew the series was put together by passionate people before I read the blog, as it shows through in the quality of the product. Congratulations on a great 1st season and I can't wait for the 2nd.

It look great!! Yeah, yeah, yeah!!

I know i sound odd but it looks more like a movie trailer than an advert for tv
btw. I love the idea of baby sleepy bird in a pinball machine! LOL =0D
Posted by: pocoyo sage (neocoyo) | June 13, 2007 at 07:48 PM
Wow David!!! How exciting was that to watch!! LOL! It felt like a movie trailer for something big and spectacular, so I can understand pocoyo sage's comment! LOL!
The first thing that tickled me was the rubbery doorway LOL! Loved Pocoyo in the sunglasses doing all the hip hop gestures and being cool. hehehe! Also loved the caterpillar on top of baby sleepybird's helmet at the skate park! LOL! You're all so imaginative and creative. I feel like partying now, because I'm so excited and really looking forward to more of Pocoyo!
Just one thing puzzles me. I have 2 DVDs with 9 episodes on each one, and yet I know for a fact that more than 50 episodes have gone to air. So how many episodes are there in a season? We need a boxed set of Season One, not just 9 episodes at a time. We're addicted to Pocoyo, even you guys at Zinkia feel the way we do, so please release a boxed set for us!
Elly in polka dot high heels sauntering the catwalk is something I'd never have imagined in a thousand years! hahaha!!
Hugs to everyone at Zinkia!
Kind regards,
Denise :D

Simply amazing! Im just sad that we don't have it in the USA just yet. I've been ordering DVDS from the UK to share them with my 2 year-old son and showing it off to the artists at work. We're all just blown away with your great pose to pose animation style. It's highly inspirational and not to mention funny too.

Awesome.
You, Craig McCracken and Genndy Tartakovsky are the new Walt Disney.
You should keep in touch once Craig McCracken and Genndy Tartakovsky usually make reference to good characters like Lone Wolf and Cub in Samurai Jack and also Foster's Home.
I also would like to remeber Bill Waterson from Calvin and Hobbes.
It will be good to have a flash tool for small kids play with Pocoyo at home.
Amazing character, congratz buddy, you deserve it.
Me and my son, your biggest fans.
Urray for Pocoyo, Urray for Pocoyo's dad!

Pocoyo's biggest fans sit in the front row. That front row is now wrapping halfway around the world! Move over Carlos, I'm sitting there too! hehehe!
Hurray for Pocoyo!
David, more wallpapers please!! :D
PS: I was shopping yesterday and couldn't see any Pocoyo DVDs but a big grin came on my face when I saw Pocoyo on the ABC Kids display stand. I wanted to hug him! LOL!

I can't wait! Even though because I live in the US I've been having to illegally download Pocoyo off the Internet and burn it onto my own DVDs for my daughter. The UK DVDs are Region 2 - won't play in our DVD player - and we don't speak Spanish, but we want Pocoyo! In English, the language of 82% of the USA! We'd get it legally if we POSSIBLY COULD AT ALL. What's the hold-up? Auggggghhhhhh!
Posted by: Sam | July 09, 2007 at 03:20 PM
Let me add that I've been downloading it off of YouTube ... so sad it's not on YouTube any more ... why can't we have a legitimate way of getting Pocoyo in USA?????
Posted by: Sam | July 09, 2007 at 03:21 PM
Hi Sam!
It will eventually come to USA, don't worry. Pocoyo is so great that the powers-that-be will eventually see the light and sign a deal with Zinkia. They're just mighty slow in recognising greatness!
In Australia, we have some DVD players that are region free, and others where you can alter the region settings in the player, usually just the one time.
I have a couple of NTSC DVDs from the USA that play in black and white but since those DVDs weren't available here, I figured better to see them in black and white than not have them at all. Australia is the PAL TV system whereas USA is NTSC.
Hunt around for a player that can handle DVDs from the UK. :) Get your hands on a UK DVD and try out the DVD player before you buy it just so that you can verify it plays.
You can also get into the forums on the internet where such discussion topics are happening, and then you can ask questions from users and not just have to trust the sales pitch of the store. :)
Good luck!
Denise,
Sydney, Australia.

Hello Pocoyo´s maker
Pocoyo is absolutely fantastic, wonderful, funny and flufy!! I live in Brazil and i´m completely mad about him! The cartoon is made to teach high values and to entertain all ages! Please dont stop to make this great idea..the tv nowadays have so much bad things to kids that dont offer any knowlegde, nothing really good..and now you created a fabolous cartoon that deserves a lot of episodes and seasons..the trailer is unbelieveble! The pocoyo´s dance..his swing..the pato very cool way..please, dont to this with your fans!! We love pocoyo team!! congratulations from brazil!

I am a spanish 27 years old fan of Pocoyo! I don't have any child, but if I would, I certainly watch Pocoyo with them. By now, I feel back to my childhood when I see it and I just LOVE this character :) Congratulations to the creators, and keep going like this!!!!

I am so happy about the Pocoyo 2 version. Great winks at mangas and othe "adult" references too! My son (18 month) is going to be even more hypnotised!
I am just sad that Loula has vanished. I liked this little doggy... why did you make her go? She didn't bring enough I suppose...
Anyway. Love from London.

Gracias a todos!
I have introduced our daughter (Caitlin Isabella, 4yrs old) and my wife (Karen) to the joy of Pocoyo. I met Pocoyo and his friends when they first appeared after I had left Spain.
We are in NZ and Pocoyo and friends have been shown here.
Congratulations on your awards and recognition.

Season 2 is looking great :)
I can't wait for Pocoyo vs Pato in the large building scene :D
Just wanted to give my respects to the developers, it IS awe inspiring and I hope one day to create something at least half as good as this.
Congrats to the animators and the design (and especially the design and flexibility of Pato, he's my fave), great work with the first season and the second should be just as good, if not better :D
Keep up the amazing work.
- James
P.S. It's good to know from reading these comments that I'm not the only adult who watches Pocoyo religiously on CITV :P
Posted by: James Prankard | July 17, 2007 at 02:02 PM
Hi James,
It's great to see all these adult friends of Pocoyo and it's great to know that you're the same as me! :D
How cool would it be to see a full length movie of Pocoyo in the cinema! I'd go! hehehehe! Pocoyo fans and proud of it! (hooks thumbs into braces and holds head high) ;)
David, what have you done to us? LOL!

Tiene una pinta estupenda. Esperemos que el tema de Granada Children no impida la continuación de la serie, que es de lo mejorcito que se ha hecho por aquí.
Saludos desde la Granada de aquí (Spain)
My daughter (1 y.o) loves this programm. Now we have a cat called pato, which is sort of confusing for her young mind :) "El gato Pato"
Greetings from Granada

My husband and I caught an episode of Pocoyo in Guatemala while visiting the baby we're adopting- we love this show! I wish the pocoyo store was open so I could buy the DVD's for back home in the US.
